A lot of times people think that having a gym membership or going on a hike is the only way to take care of your body. Yoga can give the muscles oxygen in a way that other exercise can sometimes take it away. Yoga involves stretching and bringing things to the surface. Not enough people know about meditation and what it does for the mind and spirit. Doing meditation exercises helps you tune out the negative voices that you have in your head and listen to the voice that matters most, your own voice. All those voices that are telling you that you can’t go for that promotion or that relationship or that love are other people not you.
