You never expected when you went on a yoga meditation retreat to come back a different person. Sure we all hear about the person that went on the retreat and totally transformed. We see it, other people see it but it’s still hard to believe until it happens to you. You knew that you liked yoga but it wasn’t until you went on the retreat that you realized just how much you really loved yoga and how much you needed to combine yoga and meditation.
Who can find the time for mindfulness exercises? When it comes to exercising in general people make excuses. I have to work late. I have to get up early to go to work. I have kids. I have this. I have that. The thing is with any type of exercise it’s not about having the time it’s about making the time. We all seem to have time to watch TV. TV is mindless that way. You come home you turn it on and you don’t think. However, it’s during those moments were we watch TV or talk on the phone that we could be doing exercises for the mind, the heart, the soul and the body.
